Aneta Petrasová studied at Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) under the guidance of Anna Barová and at the Hochschule für Musik Carla Maria von Weber with Hendrikje Wangemann. Aneta attended Olaf Bär’s singing class in Dresden and Ludger Rémy’s early music workshops. During her studies she had already received numerous awards at different competitions, for example Dušek’s Singing Competition.
She is devoted to the repertoire of 17th and 18th century and her singing repertoire with a great enthusiasm. Since 2013 she’s been a member of chamber ensemble in Dresden (Dresdner Kammerchor, artistic director Hans-Christoph Rademnn) and since 2015 a member of Collegium Vocale 1704 (artistic director Václav Luks). She performed with these ensembles as a soloist at the Salzburger Festspiele, the Bachfest Leipzig, the Wiener Konzerthaus, Berliner Philharmonie and the festival Oude Muziek Utrecht.
